The corporate sector continues to support the philanthropic work of the First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa to avert the effects of the COVID-19 which is affecting ordinary citizens.
COVID-19 has infected and affected millions of people globally.
The First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has embarked on a vegetable drying programme to benefit to vulnerable communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are drying these vegetables and we want to distribute them to our vulnerable communities. When we give them mealie meal, I also think of relish, how are these people going to make it. This is a difficult time and I will make sure that people get something.”
In recognition of her good works, Nyaradzo Group has donated two mobile ablution facilities to ensure safety of the principals during this pandemic.
“We have seen the works by the First Lady and the President during this period and we have decided to donate these mobile toilets to them. We would want to encourage other corporates to partner the government during this difficult time,” said Phillip Mataranyika Nyaradzo Group.
The First Lady commended the Nyaradzo group and other companies for their timely interventions. “I want to applaud all the companies that have assisted us during this difficult time and beyond. I am humbled and as Zimbabweans, let us continue to help each other.”
The First Lady, through her Angel of Hope Foundation has been working with different communities in uplifting their socio and economic status and this COVID 19 period has provided yet another challenge that requires an urgent solution.
