First Lady continues to provide safety nest to the vulnerable

The First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa continues with her efforts to provide safety nets for the needy, with the latest being the serving of breakfast to vulnerable children in Bulawayo this Sunday.

 It was all smiles for children at Queen Elizabeth Child Welfare Home in Bulawayo after the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa visited the home this Sunday where she shared breakfast with them.

During the interface with the children she implored everyone to be responsible with the young ones, saying they are a blessing from above.

Amai Mnangagwa also fed the little ones who could not eat on their own.

The Director of Queen Elizabeth Child Welfare Home,Mrs Ellen Mfumu, and the children commended the First Lady for feeding them and for always being there for the home.

The Angel of Hope Foundation patron thanked her partners for complementing her philanthropic work.

The First Lady through her Angel of Hope Foundation partners handed over various food items that include mealie meal, rice and cooking oil, among other valuables, a gesture she also extended to other homes.

A representative from a local company which partnered the First Lady in a nationwide breakfast initiative Mr Gerald Zumbika called on other stakeholders to emulate Amai Mnangagwa’s charitable works.

The Breakfast initiative is a nationwide programme launched by the First Lady through her Angel of Hope Foundation partners and is meant to cushion the vulnerable.
