First Lady applauds frontline workers

The First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has expressed gratitude to the country’s frontline workers for sacrificing their lives in the provision of health services in the wake of Covid-19.
With everything on hold and lockdowns underway world over, thousands of frontline workers in the country have continued to execute their duties, amid the Covid-19 Pandemic and their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
This Friday the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa interfaced with the Harare City Council Covid-19 response team.
During the interaction the First Lady thanked the Frontline Workers for their diligence to duty.
The First Lady, who is also the country’s health ambassador, encouraged the nation to embrace the ongoing inoculation process in order to protect each other against the deadly covid-19.
Harare City Health Services Director Dr Proper Chonzi thanked the First Lady for finding time to interact with the Frontline Workers.
The First Lady prepared and served food to the Harare City frontline workers in appreciation of their service to the nation.
In recognition of their duties, the First Lady handed over food hampers to the frontline workers.
The interface was held at Harare City Sports Centre which is now a covid-19 testing centre where the First Lady also met those who were taking Covid-19 PCR tests.
