Goals galore in Women PSL

LOG leaders Black Rhinos Queens recorded a ruthless 7-nil demolition of Mutare City Queens in a Women Premier Soccer League match played at 2 Brigade this Saturday.

Black Rhinos showcased their attacking prowess, with Caroline Mangwai leading the charge with a brace, while Rutendo Makore, Christabel Katona, Felistas Muzongondi, Tatenda Temba and Panashe Ganje each contributed a goal to the rout, cementing Black Rhinos’ grip on pole position.

The win maintains Black Rhinos’ unbeaten run and widens the gap at the top of the table, thanks to their impressive goal difference.

Mutare City Queens, on the other hand, will need to regroup and bounce back from this heavy defeat.

In other matches played over the weekend second-placed Herentals Queens thrashed MSU Queens 6-nil to keep pace with the leaders.

Chapungu Queens cruised to a 5-nil victory over Conduit Academy, Black Mambas Queens edged Faith Drive Academy 1-nil, Maningi enjoyed a resounding 10-nil win over ZRP Queens, Harare City Queens hammered Hope Academy 7-nil, while Correctional Queens, managed a 4-nil win over Highlanders Royals.
