All eyes on Chapungu Queens, Black Rhinos Queens clash

Story by Mthokozisi Dube

A blockbuster encounter is on the cards in the Zimbabwe Women Super League this weekend as perennial campaigners Chapungu Queens and former champions, Black Rhinos Queens come face to face.

Rhinos who have 19 points will be out in full force to consolidate their lead at the top of the log standings while their opponents who are fourth on 15 points with a game in hand, will be hoping to close the gap.

Second placed Harare City Queens travel to Guruve for a date with Conduit Soccer Academy, while defending champions, Herentals Queens square off with Black Mambas at Motor Action Sports Club.

Zvishavane’s Platinum Royals host Maningi Youth Academy in Zvishavane, while the match between Shine Shine and struggling Borrow Jets is in doubt as the Masvingo based side is reportedly constrained by resources having failed to fulfil two of their previous fixtures.

MSU Queens face Yadah Queens in the Midlands capital of Gweru, while Correctional Queens entertain Faith Drive Academy.
