THE top of the table clash between log leaders, Chicken Inn and second placed, FC Platinum at Luveve stadium this Saturday will signal the start of what is expected to be an exciting weekend of big matches in the Premier Soccer league.

All roads lead to Luveve stadium in Bulawayo this Saturday for a mouth-watering encounter between defending champions, FC Platinum and log leaders, Chicken Inn.

The match has been spiced up by the fact that Pure Platinum Play and the Gamecocks are the inform teams in the league at the moment and they are just separated by a point.

FC Platinum won the reverse fixture 2-1 in Zvishavane but their Coach, Norman Mapeza is not reading much into history.

“We are playing a good side with the best coach Joey so we have to approach the game with caution, although our away form has been impressive we will not read much into that.

“The position they are shows how much they are working hard for the title. We have to be at our level best this Saturday and collect maximum points,” said Mapeza.

FC Platinum will miss the services of their captain and goalkeeper, Petros Mhari as well as utility player, William Stima due to injuries, while the Gamecocks, who will welcome Itai Mabhunu from suspension, will miss the services of goalkeeper, Donovan Bernard and defender, Passmore Bernard due to suspension.
