Defending Champions FC Platinum date stubborn side Yadah FC at the National Sports Stadium this Friday as the premiership Match Day 15 roars into life.
After an emphatic three-nil win last weekend against CAPS United at Mandava Stadium, FC Platinum are looking forward to add to their tally another full set of maximum points when they visit a stubborn side Yadah FC.
The win over CAPS United last weekend was not just a set of three points for coach Norman Mapeza, but it marked a change of fortunes as it was his first home victory against the Green Machine since he took over reigns at the Zvishavane-based side.
However, although history is attesting that Pure Platinum Play have an upper hand going into the match against the Miracles Boys whom they have never lost to since 2017, Mapeza is approaching the game with caution.
“We have been preparing well for the game. We know very much what this side Yadah is capable of, hence we are going to approach the game with caution. They are a very good side especially when they are playing from home,” noted Mapeza.
An away win will see FC Platinum getting into the league’s top four, thus keeping their title aspirations alive.
