Egypt pledges to sell brand Zimbabwe

THE outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Zimbabwe His Excellency Mahmoud Amer has pledged to market brand Zimbabwe and strengthen bilateral ties in tourism between the two nations.

The outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Zimbabwe His Excellency Mahmoud Amer paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly Advocate Jacob Mudenda this Monday as he winds up his tour duty in Zimbabwe.

His Excellency Amer told the media after the meeting that expanding political to economic ties was at the centre of their deliberations.

We have excellent political relations between the two countries and we hope to expand that to economics which is what I have been working on during my time here. Zimbabwe is a beautiful country with excellent sites for tourism which I aim to share with Egypt and beyond,” he said

Ambassador Amer’s tenure ends on the 31st of this month having contributed towards the partnership between the two countries in the master plan of the Smart City in Mt Hampden.
