Chinese FA minister meets with President Mnangagwa

AS he winds up his three-day working visit to Zimbabwe, Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Affairs Minister, Wang Yi is having a meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa at statehouse in the capital.
Also in attendance is the vice president, Retired General Constantino Chiwenga and several cabinet ministers. Minister Wang is accompanied by China’s ambassador to Zimbabwe, Guo Shaochun and some Chinese government ministers.
Speaking at a dinner hosted in honour of Chinese Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Wang Yi last night, vice president Chiwenga said it was his hope that China would support the projects which the government submitted to push the two countries’ economic cooperation for mutual benefit.
The projects were submitted through a ministerial team chaired by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Dr Sibusiso Moyo, which was mandated by President Mnangagwa to find ways of mainstreaming the country’s economic cooperation with China.
