The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season resumes this weekend, after the festive season break and the AFCON tournament, with three matches lined up across three venues.

Apart from the continental showpiece, the league had also been put on halt due to rising cases of COVID-19 in PSL clubs in November last year.

Match Day Three will see Chicken Inn squaring off with Tenax at Luveve Stadium this Saturday.

The former champions hope to sink Tenax and bounce back to winning ways after succumbing to a defeat at the hands of FC Platinum.

Joey Antipas’ charges are sitting on 10th position with three points, while their opposite number are 17th with a single point

Chicken Inn have high chances of getting a home win due to more game time than Tenax.

In five games overall, Chicken Inn holds three wins and two losses, while Tenax are pushing to record a win after playing twice and managing a draw and a loss when they were thrashed 6-1 by FC Platinum.

On Sunday, Black Rhinos take on CAPS United at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare.

Makepekepe have had a troubled build up to the rescheduled clash, which was postponed in November after disagreements between the club hierarchy and players boycotting training.

After recording two draws in their first two games of the season, the Green Machine will hope to write a new chapter when they meet the army side.

On the other hand, Chauya Chipembere are hoping to get the better of Caps United for the first time.

In the six games the two teams have clashed, Lloyd Chitembwe’s men have won five times, with other game ending in a draw.

Black Rhinos are on 6th position on the log, while CAPS United find themselves on number 11 with two points.
