Chibuku Super Cup kicks off this weekend

THE first round of the Chibuku Super Cup kicks off this weekend with eight matches lined up across the country.

On Saturday, Black Rhinos will face Manica Diamonds at Gibbo Stadium, while Cranborne Bullets have a date with FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium.

On the same day, Ngezi Platinum stars host Triangle at Baobab Stadium, as Dynamos face Simba Bhora led by former Dembare coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

At Luveve Stadium, Chicken Inn have their work cut out against a rejuvenated Green Fuel.

The Chibuku Super Cup first round action continues Sunday with Bulawayo giants, Highlanders taking on defending champions Bulawayo Chiefs at Barbourfields Stadium, while Caps United are up against Hwange at Bata Stadium in Gweru.

The last match on Sunday will see Herentals clash with ZPC Kariba at Mandava Stadium.

The winners of the Chibuku Super Cup will pocket US$70 000.
