THE Zimbabwe cricket team is set to go into camp tomorrow as preparations for test series against Sri-Lanka slated for Harare Sports Club get underway.
The first quarter of the year promises to be fairly busy for the Chevrons with Sri-Lanka’s tour set to be followed by Zimbabwe’s trip to Bangladesh.
Chevrons Head Coach, Lalchand Rajput said facing Sri-Lanka will be yet another opportunity for Zimbabwe to test themselves in a series where capitalising on home advantage will be crucial.
Despite the caliber of opposition, Rajput is adamant the chevrons can pose a meaningful challenge for Sri-Lanka.
Sri-Lanka is expected in the country on the 16th of this month.
