Zanu PF Vice President and Second Secretary, Cde Kembo Mohadi, has called on the party leadership in Mashonaland Central province to have unity of purpose and ensure the ruling party fulfils the people’s aspirations.
Cde Mohadi said this during the second leg of his interface meetings with provincial leaders to take stock of what is happening at grassroots level.
“We are here to hear concerns they have in the province and also to give them what we have done and what we intend to do vis-a viz the development of this province. You are also aware that we have scheduled to have our conference here in Mashonaland Central so those are the things we looked at. But as a party we also emphasise on the unity of the party on the unity of the cadres form the top to the bottom.,” said Cde Mohadi.
Cde Mohadi expressed satisfaction with performance of the government which has achieved several transformational capital projects, while the provincial leadership gained critical insights on growing the party.
“As a province we feel we are now capacitated to go out there and grow the party which as you already know, Mash Central when it comes to Zanu PF is the best,” said Zanu PF Mash Central Chairman, Cde Kazembe Kazembe.
With Zanu PF targeting over five million votes in the next election, restructuring of the party, voter mobilisation and the newly formed war veterans league all came under spotlight.
