Zanu PF Vice President and Second Secretary, Cde Kembo Mohadi says the party and government will not lose sleep over saboteurs trying to derail the gains of the second Republic.
Cde Mohadi took to Mashonaland west on the third leg of his interaction with the ruling party’s provincial leadership.
Addressing the media after a closed door meeting, Cde Mohadi said government and the ruling party will not be moved by those bent on derailing economic progress achieved by the Second Republic.
“If you have been to rural areas you may have noticed that when the moon rises, it will be in its amber and the jackals start barking but that doesn’t stop the moon from following its course,” he said.
He said issues raised in the closed door meeting were around growing the party and fostering unity.
“We are here to get to know what people need and how we can assist on terms of development. Party issues raised touched on growing the party and fostering unity. We got a brief from Minister Mliswa in terms of infrastructure development and fighting COVID-19. There is good synergy between the DCCs and the provincial leadership.”
Cde Mohadi has attended similar meetings in Mashonaland east and central provinces.
