FOUR candidates are vying to represent ZANU PF in the Gokwe-Kabuyuni constituency with primary elections set to be held this Sunday.
The ZANU PF primary elections for Gokwe-Kabuyuni constituency will be held on Sunday, with four candidates vying for the ticket to represent the party in next month’s by-election while two others have been disqualified.
Zanu PF National Political Commissar, Dr Mike Bimha confirmed the dates of the primary election.
“We have four candidates vying for the seat. We are going to have primary elections this Sunday, and after that, we will intensify our mobilisation agenda for the winning candidate,” Siad Dr Bimha.
The four candidates: Jabulani Mandla, Manager Mkuli, Spencer Tshuma and Tapera Nyoni will contest the primary election.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Leornard Chikomba in a road traffic accident.
The by-election will be held on August 27.
