THE Deputy Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Marian Chombo has urged the private sector to work with government in rebuilding schools and infrastructure that were destroyed by Cyclone Idai in Buhera North constituency.
Deputy Minister Chombo made the call when she visited the constituency this Thursday, to assess progress on the rehabilitation of destroyed infrastructure by Cyclone Idai. She is accompanied by the legislator for Buhera North, William Mtomba, Buhera West legislator, Saul Nzuma and other government officials.
Her first port of call was St Albans primary school where all the school blocks were destroyed including toilets.

So far only toilets have been constructed and learners have to use tents when schools open next week.
