Zimbabwe’s representatives in the CAF Champions League FC Platinum are upbeat ahead of the second of their preliminary round tie against Costa do Sol of Mozambique at the National Sports Stadium this Saturday.
The Platinum miners carry a 2-1 lead from the first leg played in Mozambique last Saturday.
The return leg is slated for the National Sports Stadium this Saturday, with club spokesperson Chido Chizondo saying they consider the venue as their second home.
“We are going to be playing at the National Sports Stadium because our stadium wasn’t homologated but we are not worried because the National Sports Stadium is our second home and we won our last championship there.”
A draw will be enough for FC Platinum to go through to the next round.
