CAF 2022 World Cup Qualifiers draw set for tonight

Africa is about to embark on the next phase in the journey to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, all is set for the Confederation of African Football 2022 World Cup Qualifiers draw which will be held in Cairo, Egypt this Tuesday at 7pm this evening.
Zimbabwe is part of the draw after scrapping through to the group phase of the world cup qualifiers following a win over Somalia.
40 nations will go into the hat with countries set to be placed in 10 groups of 4 teams, with only the section winners advancing to the third round.
Meanwhile, a decision regarding the next warriors coach is yet to be made with Joey Antipas among applicants that are being considered for the job.
The 14 first-round winners will be joined in the draw by the 26 highest African nations in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking as of December 2019. The 40 teams will be drawn into ten groups of four, with only the section winners advancing to the third round.
