The late national hero, Brigadier General Charles Kaneta will be buried at the National Heroes Acre on Saturday.
Tomorrow, a parade will be held at Charles Gumbo Barracks at 2pm.
The body will be flown to his rural home in Hauna, Mutasa district on Thursday, before it is taken to Dourne Farm in Marondera enroute to Harare.
On Friday, it will lie in state at Charles Gumbo barracks before burial on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the late national hero has been described as a disciplined cadre, who was a pleasure to work with.
Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces, General Philip Valerio Sibanda said this when he paid his condolences at the Kaneta family home in Harare today.
Brother to the late national hero, Colonel (Retired) Patrick Kaneta thanked the government for the national hero status.
Brigadier General Kaneta collapsed at his rural home in Hauna on Saturday and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
