The Chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana’s has left the country after meeting President Emmerson Mnangagwa this afternoon.
Their meeting dwelt on issues of bilateral relations as well as the Cabo Delgado conflict in Mozambique.
Zimbabwe and Botswana will continue pursuing ways of strengthening existing bilateral relations between the two nations, said Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Professor Amon Murwira.
Giving a summation of Dr Masisi’s visit, the two representatives said the visit produced positive outcomes in different areas of cooperation between the two countries.
President Masisi was seen off by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Amon Murwira, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. David Musabayana and the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr James Manzou.
