THE Zimbabwe national soccer team has received a major boost ahead of a crunch Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria next month following the return of some players from injury, while others continue to shine for their respective clubs.

The availability of Billiat and Bonne should be a major boost for the Warriors who are preparing for an AFCON qualifier against Algeria on March 23.
Bonne has featured 19 times for English Championship side, Charlton Athletic this season scoring eight goals.
Apart from the return of Billiat and Bonne, the Warriors should also be encouraged by the form of some of the regular players.
Down south, Amazulu forward, Talent Chawapiwa continues to strike the right code after he found the back of the net in his side’s 4-1 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic in a Nedbank Cup tie at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Saturday.
Marvellous Nakamba who plays for English Premier League side Aston Villa, defensive linkman Marshal Munetsi, who turns out for French Ligue 1 side, Reims, and hotshot striker Tinotenda Kadewere who recently joined Lyon, are among a host of players impressing in top European leagues.
Zimbabwe is second in Group H of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, two points behind log leaders, Algeria while Botswana is third with one point, while Zambia anchor the log without a point.
