I was tasked to create something new and I blended dancing with visual arts, something which has never been done before.

“I was then awarded a gold medal and a certificate for my ingenuity. I was also selected to represent Zimbabwe at the International Art Showcase set for New York in the USA to represent Zimbabwe at the July at International Art Showcase. I am earning a living through visual art,” said Maruta.
