ALL is set for the launch of the ZANU PF campaign star rallies slated for this Saturday in Epworth, ahead of the 26 March by-elections.
ZANU PF national political commissar, Dr Mike Bimha, said the President and First Secretary of the party, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, is expected to outline the achievements and plans of the Second Republic.
“The rally will be graced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa as the Guest of Honour, to give party supporters and Zimbabweans in general plans for the next few years. Topical will be the issue of title deeds, the achievements of the Second Republic in road construction and provision of water among others,” he said.
Dr Bimha added that Harare provincial members are on the ground mobilising for the event.
“Party members must come out in their numbers to witness the launch of the campaigns for the March 26 by-elections.
“We will have defectors at the meeting, while also parading party candidates for the by-elections,” he added.
Sixteen political parties will battle it out in the March 26 by-elections.
Twelve vacant National Assembly and several council seats are up for grabs in Harare Province.
