The Zimbabwe School Examination Council has officially announced the November 2021 Ordinary Level results, with statistics showing an increase of 1.57% passrate from 2020.
249 914 candidates sat for the November 2021 exams compared to 264 099 in 2020, ZIMSEC board chair Professor Eddie Mwenje said.
He attributed the improvement in the passrate to the longer school calendar as a result of relaxation of the COVID-19 lockdown and also the learning strategies that were introduced by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.
Results will be accessible from 4pm today on the Zimsec website www.zimsec.co.zw and heads of examination centres will be able to collect them for their respective centres from the ZIMSEC regional offices from Wednesday the 13th of April 2022.
