18 years behind bars for hubby killer

A Mutare woman who axed her husband to death following a domestic dispute in 2018 has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Anesu Mafokosho(26) who was facing murder charges was found guilty and sentence to 18 years behind bars.
Facts are that on December 24, 2018, the couple had a misunderstanding at their matrimonial home prompting Mafokosho’s sister identified as Mollen to go out of the house with the couple’s daughter.
Mafokosho locked the door and struck the deceased several times at the back of the neck with an axe, killing him on spot.
She then called Mollen to go to the bedroom where she saw the deceased’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood on the floor.
The matter was reported to the police and Mafokosho was arrested on the January 4, 2019.
